Job summary

NOOTER Construction seeks an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to lead QA/QC across industrial construction and fabrication projects. You will oversee inspections, documentation, and code compliance, while guiding QA/QC personnel to ensure safe, efficient project execution and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will review drawings, inspection plans, and nonconformances; drive root-cause investigations; and coordinate audits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Minimum five years of experience in industrial construction, fabrication, or QA/QC inspection.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings, specifications, welding procedures, and codes.
• Experience managing nonconformance reporting, corrective actions, quality records, and inspection documentation.
• Strong knowledge of industrial construction methods, welding processes, fabrication practices, and inspection techniques.
• Working knowledge of ASME, NBIC, API, and related codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and electronic quality management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and oversee quality assurance/control activities across projects.
• Review quality documentation and coordinate compliance with project teams.
• Support root cause investigations and nonconformance tracking.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits and maintain records.
• Provide technical leadership to QAQC personnel and communicate quality metrics to leadership.
