Job summary

Timberline Manufacturing, an employee-owned electrical contract manufacturer in Marion, IA, is seeking a Harness QA Inspector to support wire harness production and quality control. You will inspect finished products and first articles, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, team leads, and production supervisors.
Basic math and computer skills.
Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a positive attitude with a customer appreciation mentality.
Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of time.
Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve.
Operate with a sense of teamwork.

Responsibilities

Complete daily inspections of finished wire harnesses prior to shipment to ensure goals are met.
Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections.
Follow compliance of AS9100 documentation requirements as applied to production.
Record and report on quality issues.
Support and contribute process improvement ideas.
Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of issues as needed.
Work with a variety of equipment and hand tools.
Comprehend mechanical aptitude and abilities.
Comprehend and read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
