Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Utah Division in the Provo area.

This role focuses on coordinating with the Project Superintendent, overseeing pay requests, and monitoring project costs across water and wastewater projects throughout Utah and surrounding states. The candidate will forecast total costs, manage project labor, review material needs, assist in bidding, and build strong relationships with owners and subcontractors while ensuring safety and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related program required.
At least eight (8) years of construction field experience required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Effective Communication Skills both oral and written, and quick response time to inquiries.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan.
Oversee the pay request process.
Monitor project costs and job cost report.
Analyze and forecast total cost projections.
Monitor project labor.
Review and approve material and equipment needs.
Assist in estimating when bidding projects.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with owners, vendors, subcontractors.
Any and all other duties assigned.
