Litehouse Foods in Lowell, MI is seeking a Mixer to support our spice, prep, and testing operations on 3pm-11:30pm shift. Starting pay is $20.50/hr with additional shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts. We are a 100% employee-owned company with strong benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

You will load ingredients, operate batch automation systems, follow allergen protocols, maintain accurate production records, and support FIFO practices while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate or learn computer-based batch automation technology.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-minded attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems for high-value recipes.
• Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided).
• Changeover and wash out machinery between batches following allergen protocols.
• Keep workspace and production area clean and organized.
• Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accuracy and ensure FIFO.
• Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain production records.
• Adhere to all food safety policies and report concerns to supervisor.
• Work flexible hours, including frequent overtime and weekends.
