Job summary

Winter-Dent & Company seeks a Marketing/Placement Coordinator to manage marketing and placement for mid-size commercial P&C accounts. You will collaborate with Producers, Account Executives and Account Managers to gather underwriting information, market to carriers, review quotes, and support the delivery of competitive proposals.

This role requires 2+ years in insurance, a P&C license (to be obtained within 90 days if needed), and strong communication to build relationships with carriers and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Client-facing roles and renewal knowledge.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage new business and renewal marketing for mid-size, moderately complex accounts.
• Pre-qualify risks and determine carrier markets in partnership with Sr. Marketing Coordinator.
• Gather information for applications and underwriting.
• Prepare and submit applications and supporting docs to carriers.
• Ensure all documentation and steps are captured in Applied EPIC CRM.
• Manage carrier follow-up for timely responses and quotes.
• Review quotes for accuracy, coverage, and competitiveness.
• Recommend quote options to Producers for presentation.
• Provide finalized quotes to Account Managers for secondary review.
• Maintain organized marketing documentation and carrier correspondence.
• Build and maintain carrier relationships.
• Stay informed on carrier appetites and market changes.
• Ensure compliance with agency standards and carrier requirements.
• Identify opportunities to refer clients to other departments.
