Job summary

Inland Truck Parts & Service is seeking a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic to service class 6-8 trucks in a clean, well-equipped, and ventilated facility. The role offers opportunities to develop skills while working on a variety of makes and models. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00–5:00.

Candidates should have mechanical ability, read diagrams, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Preference for self-motivated, detail-oriented candidates with 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have mechanical ability/ skills/ knowledge; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic math skills, tools, and the ability to read & understand manuals/ diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry
• Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work independently, as well as part of a team
