Pembroke & Co. in Auburn, ME, is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Service Technician to diagnose and repair diesel and Class A trucks, focusing on engines, hydraulics and transmissions.

This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with potential for a part-time option. Saturdays are optional and depend on business needs. You will perform preventative maintenance, order parts, and keep a clean, safe work area while communicating with management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience with heavy duty vehicles required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Commercial Inspection license is preferred; strong communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, service, and perform maintenance on heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspecting for road-worthiness and safety issues.
• Work with diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot issues related to turbos, injectors, and radiators.
• Research and order parts with approvals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report damages or faulty equipment to management.
• Additional tasks as needed.

Position Overview

Supporting a local transportation company, the Heavy Vehicle Service Technician will diagnose and repair diesel and Class A vehicles, focusing on engines, hydraulics, and transmissions.
