Job summary

ECS Limited seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage our Atlanta office as Group Manager. You will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development and day-to-day operations for the branch.

Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary geotechnical and construction materials projects, assembling teams, managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships, while ensuring safety and quality across all work.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical concentration required.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and client-relations skills.
• Strong business acumen with P&L experience and budgeting capabilities.
• Proven project management and adherence to safety standards.

• Perform technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications.

• Manage branch budgets, forecasts, hiring, and staff development.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of technical and managerial experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong business acumen with P&L experience.

• Knowledge of local/regional engineering climate.

Required Education & Certifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university with a concentration in geotechnical engineering.

Preferred Education & Certifications

• MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university with a concentration in geotechnical engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
