Scot Forge is seeking entry-level candidates to join our Forge Team. This role offers a comprehensive training program with opportunities to advance, develop skills, and gain experience in forging. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to analyze and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under deadline pressure.
• Excellent attendance and safety history.
• Basic computer skills, blueprint reading, and math concepts.

Responsibilities

• Locate material according to shop order information and verify material identity.
• Fuel press equipment, long reaches and forklifts as needed.
• Verify material identity before loading furnace.
• Fill in as forge crew member as needed.
• Coordinate pre-forging load with Blacksmith or forge personnel.
• Operate furnace to maintain production schedule for forging and cooling cycles.
• Grind material defects and repair tools as needed.
• Remove scrap and unload components per metal type.
• Transport parts to designated areas.
