Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field teams on large-scale commercial projects in Florida. You will oversee Foremen, coordinate with PMs, and ensure safety, schedules, and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of field experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of Electrical systems and applicable codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills across trades.
• Proficiency in scheduling, reporting, and computer-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Foremen and field teams to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Interpret plans, specifications, and submittals.
• Review procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Plan manpower and resources to maximize field productivity.
• Coordinate with PM/Foreman and client representatives to drive progress.
• Maintain safety, quality, and daily records (timekeeping, logs).
• Collaborate with VDC on shop drawings and constructability.
