B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead multiple project sites in Florida, overseeing foremen and field teams to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and high-quality installation.

The role demands strong leadership, coordination, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will collaborate with project management, VDC, and clients to validate drawings, plan manpower, monitor budgets, and ensure timely procurement.

Formación

• Minimum of 6 years of field experience, including at least four years in a supervisory or Foreman role.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, coordination, and manpower planning.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of Electrical systems and applicable codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across trades and departments.
• Proficiency in computer-based scheduling, reporting, and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
• Strong understanding of FL Building, and AHCA codes.
• Knowledge of lighting controls.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.

Responsabilidades

• Foster a culture of quality, integrity, safety, and teamwork.
• Supervise Foremen and field crews to meet schedules and budgets.
• Interpret plans, specifications, and submittals.
• Review procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Plan and allocate manpower to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, safety, and quality.
• Mentor Foremen and staff through performance reviews and coaching.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with VDC on shop drawings and project schedules.
• Develop manpower projections with PM and Foreman.
• Act as liaison between project management, foremen, and client.
• Monitor labor tracking for progress updates.
• Attend jobsite meetings with foremen weekly.
• Motivate teams to maintain safe, productive environments.
• Provide cost-to-complete reports monthly.
