Job summary

Border States in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Delivery Driver to support day-to-day warehouse operations by delivering materials to customer sites and branch locations. You’ll maintain vehicles, complete logs and inspections, and ensure accurate delivery documentation while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, coordinating with carriers, and performing occasional warehouse tasks. Must be 21+, have a valid license, and pass required certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles required.
• Current medical certification required.
• Clean driving record essential.
• Knowledge of PC Windows and Internet; SAP software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to Border States branches and customer sites.
• Maintain delivery vehicle: clean, in good condition; monitor maintenance and mileage.
• Schedule DOT/state mandated inspections and keep logs.
• Load and unload materials; provide excellent customer service.
• Complete driver logs and vehicle inspection reports daily.
• Assist in warehouse tasks as needed and coordinate deliveries with carriers.
