Job summary

HD Supply in Lavergne, TN is seeking a Delivery Driver (non CDL) to make safe customer deliveries with company or rental vehicles. You will inspect vehicles, maintain records, and provide excellent service on order and delivery issues.

The role requires a valid license, acceptable MVR, and 2–5 years in delivery or distribution. Expect routine routes, some overnight travel, and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience with company-provided or rental vehicle.
• 1+ year operating material handling equipment.
• Clean MVR status and a valid driver’s license.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area and interfaces with customers on order issues.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites using equipment.
• Reviews order manifests for accuracy and completeness.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Maintains contact with the distribution center for delivery updates or interruptions.
• Prepares and maintains vehicle and order records per company policies.
• Communicates delivery status updates to customers.
