Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or 2 years with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to read, understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to establish relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect construction materials and workmanship per contract documents and shop drawings.
• Verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, shop drawings and referenced standards before work is covered or closed.
• Maintain daily records including logs, inspections, reports, photos and drawings to show progress and changes.
• Schedule and monitor inspections and all special inspections; coordinate with Owner, Architect and Contractor.
• Review Contractor's schedules and advise Owner on progress and scheduling issues.
