Job summary

Pinkard Construction in Colorado Front Range is seeking a Construction Management Intern for an immersive, experiential learning opportunity on active construction sites or at Pinkard's corporate office. You will gain knowledge in construction operations, contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and data gathering for estimates.

Current enrollment in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or Architecture is required, and candidates must pass a drug test prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or Architecture.
• Applicants must pass a drug test before beginning work.

Responsibilities

• Performing regularly scheduled jobsite safety audits.
• Reading and becoming familiar with contract documents.
• Completing submittal and shop drawing processes.
• Processing requests for information (RFI).
• Logging change orders and revisions.
• Maintaining Owner/Architect/Contractor Meeting minutes.
• Assisting with permitting and occupancy certificates.
• Gathering, calculating, and compiling data for conceptual and hard bid estimates.
