Flippo Construction Company, Inc. in Forestville, MD seeks a CDL truck driver to support heavy civil construction projects across DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland.

Responsibilities include daily dispatch checks, safe operation of the truck, and completing inspections; snow removal availability; and daily vehicle upkeep. Requirements include 2+ years of 10-wheel dump truck experience, a valid CDL (A or B), DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate, and ability to pass DOT drug tests, lifting up to 95

Qualifications

• Two years of experience driving a 10-wheel dump truck.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• DOT drug and alcohol screen clearance.
• Reliable transportation to/from job site.
• Ability to lift up to 95 pounds.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the Dispatcher daily for job assignments.
• Operate the truck and equipment safely while supporting civil construction projects.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections per FMCSA regulations.
• Follow Foreman directions on site or via designated appointee.
• Be available for snow removal operations.
• Wash and clean the vehicle daily; fuel at shift end.
