Job summary

Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is seeking an Employee & Labor Relations Specialist to assist in investigations, support grievances and disciplinary actions, and ensure consistent policy application across the organization.

The role collaborates with HR, Legal, and operations leaders to promote a positive employee experience and mitigate risk, while guiding managers on CBAs and enterprise policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum four years of broad HR experience with at least two years in employee and labor relations.
• Experience in Tribal Government or casino hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in workplace investigations and provide documentation and recommendations to managers.
• Advise managers on employment practices, policies and laws; conduct internal investigations and provide resolution summaries.
• Support labor relations by applying knowledge of CBAs during grievances and contracts.
• Maintain records of cases and assist in reporting trends for compliance and improvement.
• Perform other duties to support department operations.
