Job summary

Okland is seeking a Product Manager – Employee Experience to own the strategy and evolution of Okland’s company intranet and connected systems, helping employees find information, stay informed, and get work done.

Sitting on the People Team and partnering with Innovation, this role blends product management, UX, content management, and employee communications to reimagine the intranet, improve information architecture, and reduce noise while enabling teams to excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in product/UX focused field.
• Experience in product management, product ownership, UX, digital employee experience, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, user research, information architecture, and product discovery.
• Ability to translate user needs into clear product and technical requirements.
• Working knowledge of systems, integrations, APIs, data flows, and software development processes.
• Experience with intranets, knowledge management, enterprise search, employee technology, or content management preferred.
• Experience with process improvement, workflow design, or automation preferred.
• Construction or field-based/operational experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day health of the intranet, including content creation and updates and ensuring information stays current and relevant.
• Lead the employee communications calendar and coordinate across company-wide initiatives and events.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to sequence communications and ensure timely delivery of information.
• Create employee-facing content and establish ownership, standards, and content governance.
• Own information architecture, search, content strategy, governance, and document control to improve findability and trust.
