Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Department Coordinator to join its Business Enablement team. The role supports enterprise-wide service delivery and acts as a primary contact for internal departments to enhance the employee experience.

The successful candidate will build relationships, drive process improvements, and coordinate onboarding, IT tool support, and TEAMS assistance across internal groups.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience in an IT or administrative support role.
• Familiar with IT connectivity, systems and hardware.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment of business needs and superior employee experience.
• Assist with new hire and onboarding processes.
• Support the IT Software renewal and approval processes.
• Act as point of escalation for requests and incidents for business sectors, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Provide assistance and training for IT tools, equipment and systems.
• Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Assess the needs of Black & Veatch professionals and provide recommendations for service delivery improvements.
• Assist the Audio-Visual team with Microsoft TEAMS support.
• Assist with special projects within the department and team.
