Job summary

Wealth Enhancement Group in Plymouth, MN, seeks a People Programs Specialist to coordinate and execute employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, and community initiatives in a hybrid role working from home with on-site events. You will develop plans, manage budgets, collaborate with sponsors and vendors, recruit volunteers, and promote programs across platforms while tracking participation and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, organizational development, communications, business, hospitality, event management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating employee engagement, HR programs, events, communications, or related initiatives.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills across all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze feedback/participation data and suggest improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute employee engagement programs (Health & Wellness, Employee Appreciation, Day of Service, Charitable Matching, ERGs).
• Develop program plans, timelines, budgets, and logistics.
• Partner with sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and office contacts to deliver high‑quality experiences.
• Monitor execution, resolve issues, maintain docs, and suggest process improvements.
• Support ERGs and employee volunteers; recruit and onboard program champions.
• Foster cross-group collaboration to align activities with priorities.
• Promote programs through communications plans and materials.
• Track participation and budgets; deliver status reports and summaries.
• Gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
