Job summary

Town of Mooresville seeks an Employee Experience Business Partner to align town objectives with employees and management. You will serve as a strategic HR advisor, delivering guidance on employee relations, performance, and workforce planning while ensuring policy compliance.

Collaborating with the Employee Experience team and department leaders, you will drive training, organizational development, and programs to improve morale, engagement, and retention across the Town.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ten years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic HR guidance to department leaders.
• Addresses employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Partners with Talent Manager on coaching, development, and disciplinary actions.
• Analyzes trends and develops HR programs and policies.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Collaborates with leadership to improve morale, productivity, and retention.
• Oversees evaluation and monitoring of training programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
