Job summary

Capitol-City-Produce is seeking an Employee Engagement Specialist to strengthen morale and culture across our Baton Rouge operations. You will partner with employees, managers, and HR leadership to design engaging programs, communications, and recognition initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in engagement or related roles, a Bachelor’s degree, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, communications, business admin, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in employee engagement, HR, communications, or event coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate employee engagement initiatives aligned with company culture and values.
• Plan and execute employee appreciation events, recognition programs, celebrations, and engagement activities.
• Support onboarding efforts and onboarding experience initiatives.
• Monitor engagement trends and provide recommendations to HR leadership.
• Create employee communication materials and manage engagement campaigns.
• Partner with leaders to identify engagement opportunities and implement solutions.
