Qualifications

• Ability to listen and interact with clients, employees and families
• Strong oral and written communication, especially under stressful situations
• Diplomacy and courtesy when dealing with diverse groups
• Comfort with documenting accurately according to standards
• Must have valid driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance
• Spiritual maturity and Christian lifestyle aligned with ministry values

Responsibilities

• Serve as messenger of faith, mission, and purpose
• Interact with employees, their families, and communities with strong character
• Regularly visit company worksites to build relationships and provide support
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues and referrals as needed
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and support during grief periods
• Support post-termination care and transition for affected employees
• Distribute ministry resources and represent chaplain services to clients
