Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Client Services Manager in Ohio to build strong client relationships, manage complex accounts, and guide renewal strategies in the insurance sector.

The role requires navigating contracts, regulatory requirements, and market trends while coordinating cross-functional teams and facilitating client implementations. Travel may be necessary to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience managing multiple clients in the insurance industry.
• Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise.
• Technical knowledge of contract provisions, renewal and claims processing, plan knowledge, and carrier funding.
• Expertise in managing clients with alternative funding arrangements.
• Proficient use of applicable technology and client management software.
• Expert knowledge of state and federal legislation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships while meeting specified client retention goals.
• Coordinate and direct assigned client activities within the client services team.
• Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and strategic priorities.
• Develop and execute renewal and/or marketing strategies in accordance with client instructions.
• Manage new client implementation processes.
• Execute analysis and deliver creative, practical client solutions.
• Lead and coordinate evaluation of marketing.
• Serve as a valued advisor to clients and build strategic relationships with key decision makers.
• Negotiate renewal actions with carriers based on client needs.
• Educate clients on applicable legislation and market trends.
• Monitor clients closely and provide innovative industry solutions aligned with business needs and goals.
• Participate in RFP processes and finalist presentations.
• Identify and propose additional services to existing clients.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
