You will assist in renewal proposals, recommend plan changes and funding options, and help prepare meetings with coverages and contracts. A license in Life/Accident and Health is required within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance/business/economics or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of employee benefits financial experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (strong to expert).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight of monthly financial reports.
• Develop reporting requirements and customize reports as needed.
• Support Benefit Consultants in preparing requests for meetings, including coverages and contracts.
• Participate in prospective client finalist presentations to represent Brown & Brown's financial strategy.
• Assist with demographic analysis, claims reviews, and other projects for prospective clients.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects, including involvement in client meetings and presentations at client functions.
