Troutman Pepper Locke’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation (EBEC) subgroup of its Tax & Benefits practice group seeks an attorney with 3–6 years of experience to join its EBEC practice. The ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta, Houston, New York, or Richmond; exceptional candidates in other markets may also be considered.
This attorney will play a crucial role in supporting client teams on matters related to the design and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and incentive and other compensation programs. In addition, this attorney will support client teams on the compensation and benefits aspects of M&A transactions and executive compensation matters. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to review, analyze, and apply detailed regulations, are essential, as this role will collaborate regularly across the team and interface directly with clients.
3–6 years of experience in the EBEC practice area. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state in which they practice. Location considerations include availability in Atlanta, Houston, New York, or Richmond, with exceptional candidates in other markets considered.
The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $350,000, dependent on relevant years of experience.
