Baker Botts L.L.P. is seeking an Executive Compensation & Benefits (ECB) Associate for our New York, Dallas or Houston office. Candidates should have 4–7 years of experience, ideally in a large law firm, advising on equity plans, executive employment agreements, and compensation and benefits matters arising in M&A, IPO and other transactions. Strong academics and an interest in a collaborative, national practice are required.

This is a high-visibility role with significant access to leadership, working directly with partners across offices and to support both our Corporate and Tax groups on complex, often cross-border transactions. You’ll gain early ownership of workstreams, exposure to high-value matters, and the opportunity to help shape a growing practice. The position offers meaningful mentorship, sophisticated work, and a clear path for long-term growth and advancement.

The salary range is $365,000 to $420,000 and depends on a candidate's experience.
