Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking an Employee Benefits Client Coordinator to support benefits accounts (medical, dental, vision, disability) and deliver exceptional client service. This hybrid role focuses on renewals, benefits education, and communications with clients across channels.

You should have 2–3 years of benefits experience, familiarity with fully insured and level-funded plans, and strong communication and organizational skills. L&D designation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing fully insured and level-funded accounts, with potential exposure to self-funded accounts.
  • Support clients with renewals, education, benefits administration, and preparation of benefits guides.
  • Handle RFPs and ensure timely communication with clients via email and other channels.
  • Learn and adapt to internal processes, focusing on renewals and client-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Potentially take on specific client accounts as experience grows.

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Client Coordinator to join a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless client service and support for employee benefits accounts, including medical, dental, vision, and disability plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how benefits work and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. This position offers a hybrid work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Compensation Package
  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing fully insured and level-funded accounts, with potential exposure to self-funded accounts.
  • Support clients with renewals, employee education, benefits administration, and preparation of benefits guides.
  • Handle Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and ensure timely communication with clients via email and other channels.
  • Learn and adapt to internal processes, focusing on renewals and client-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Potentially take on specific client accounts as experience grows.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in employee benefits or a related field.
  • Licenses/Designations: L&D preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Pension Pro software is a plus but not required.
  • Account Knowledge: Understanding of medical, dental, vision, and disability plans. Experience with fully insured and level-funded accounts is essential; self-funded accounts experience is a plus.
