Job summary

NFP is seeking a seasoned Employee Benefits Analyst to support calendar management, data gathering, and vendor coordination across benefits programs. You will scrub census data, analyze contracts, maintain Salesforce contacts, and help onboard new accounts.

Strong Excel skills and excellent communication are essential for collaboration with the Employee Benefits team. Typical duties include negotiating with vendors, ensuring quote accuracy, and supporting weekly meetings.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn software/technology quickly.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiency processing large amounts of information on an ongoing basis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong aptitude for organization and prioritization.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Calendar maintenance of marketing and analysis processes.
• Vendor relationships and negotiations.
• Data gathering from clients and carriers for RFPs.
• Scrubbing census and eligibility data as needed.
• Ensure spreadsheets are accurate against contracts.
• Contract comparison analysis where applicable.
• Familiarity with core carrier contracts and differentiators.
• Communication to Employee Benefits team on deliverables.
• Vendor accountability for quote accuracy.
• Maintain Salesforce with vendor contacts.
• Assist onboarding for new accounts and lines of business.
• Limited experience in self-funding medical plans.
• Attendance at weekly Employee Benefits meetings and events.
