Job summary

Bell Bank seeks a detail-oriented Benefits Associate to enter and maintain client policy data in EPIC, prepare proposals, and support the RFP process for clients, agents, and carriers.

You will review contracts, respond to inquiries, assist in Open Enrollment, and gather renewal data while maintaining carrier relationships. This role emphasizes accuracy, timelines, and collaborative service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of employee benefits, insurance brokerage, account management, or related client service experience.
• Active Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License required, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate policy information in EPIC for client servicing, processing transactions, and documentation.
• Prepare proposals and recommendations to ensure clients understand coverages offered.
• Manage the RFP process including preparation, follow-up and presentation.
• Review contracts, benefit plan summaries, rates, and other carrier documents for accuracy.
• Respond to client inquiries, advisor, and carrier requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain expiration lists and gather renewal information from carriers.
• Assist in Open Enrollment preparation including updating benefit guides, client resources and communications.
• Prepare data for annual compliance audits to be presented by Account Executive or Benefit Advisor.
• Maintain expertise in agency computer systems, third party resources and computer programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with carriers, producers and fellow employees.

This position represents Bell Insurance in a professional and courteous manner, providing prompt, efficient and accurate services to our customers, agents and insurance carriers with established policies and procedures.

Education, Experience, and Other Expectations
