Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team in White Plains, NY.

As an Employee Benefits Account Executive, you will manage key client relationships and provide strategic consulting services, leveraging your knowledge of the insurance market.

How You Will Contribute
  • Manage and retain an existing book of business as well as new clients.
  • Maintain client relations with scheduled meetings, including claims utilization reviews, compliance updates, pre-renewal planning, and renewal meetings.
  • Provide customer relations with all levels of client decision-makers and technical representatives.
  • Ensure proper organizational resources are involved with the customer and introduce new products and services as appropriate.
  • Identify, develop, and oversee customer needs and service plans for each client.
  • Plan and direct the renewal process for all coverage lines, negotiate rate renewals, and recommend carrier changes or alternative funding.
  • Prepare new business strategies, including proposals and presentations, aligning with customer requirements.
  • Develop client communications and present at employer meetings on benefits legislation, compliance, industry trends, and new products.
  • Complete Stewardship and Claims Utilization Reports annually and quarterly, respectively.
  • Provide technological support for clients as needed.
  • Conduct annual open enrollment meetings and support producer efforts to retain and grow the book of business.
Licenses and Certifications
  • NYS Life, Accident & Health License required.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree required.
  • 10+ years in large group Employee Benefits customer service/account management at an agency or company level.
  • Experience with 100-500 life groups, fully insured, level-funded, and self-funding.
  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, and eager.
  • Basic computer knowledge in Windows environment, including spreadsheet creation.

Pay Range

$125,000 - $135,000 annually

The pay range is based on experience, geography, and budget considerations.
