The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor serves as a key member of the EAP clinical team, providing confidential clinical services and program support to eligible employees and program participants. This hybrid position delivers services remotely, in the office, and at client locations through in-person, telephone, and video-based interactions. The EAP Counselor supports individuals and groups through clinical assessments, brief solution-focused counseling, coaching, consultation, mediation, crisis response, and educational training. The counselor evaluates each client’s needs and connects them with appropriate support through skill-building, case management, community resources, and referrals for longer-term therapy when needed. This role also develops and presents training programs and collaborates with EAP clinical and administrative staff to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and the overall client experience.
