Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months experience with psychiatric patients preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient transportation within the facility and to affiliated locations.
• Supervise and assist patients to prevent unsafe behavior.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control policies.
• Communicate with Transportation Coordinator about schedules and patient status.
• Maintain on-call communication and report absences to nursing staff.
• Participate in performance improvement and data collection.
