A senior living community in Northport is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct care to residents. The PCA will assist with daily living activities, ensuring a nurturing environment. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, experience in personal care, and ideally, CPR certification. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year personal care, senior living or healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Observe changes in residents' health and report to nursing team.
• Foster positive relationships with residents.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques

Education

High school diploma or GED
