A senior living community in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide compassionate care and support for residents. The PCA will assist with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include personal care support, health monitoring, and fostering engagement among residents. Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health to the nursing team.
• Foster positive relationships with residents through companionship.
• Ensure residents' living areas are clean and safe.

Conocimientos

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compassionate and patient

Ability to work independently

Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques

Educación

High school diploma or GED

Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program
