Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and audit admission paperwork for accuracy.
• Review and update patient demographics and insurance information in the system.
• Counsel patients and guarantors regarding coverage, benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and payment options.
• Collect deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and other patient balances.
• Complete financial assistance applications and verify income and expense documentation.
• Prepare charity care and payment arrangements as needed.
• Maintain logs and review activity with leadership to support Timely payment.
• Analyze account information and take appropriate action to support timely payment and reimbursement.
