Job summary

Mizrahi Kroub LLP is actively seeking an Intake Specialist in New York, NY. The role serves as the first point of contact for potential clients, handling phone, email, and web submissions to screen and qualify cases.

You will gather facts, document details, and support a smooth intake process for the Employment team. Ideal candidates have 1+ years in legal intake or related roles, with strong communication, empathy, and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in legal intake, customer service, or related role.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients via phone, email, and website submissions.
• Conduct intake interviews to assess facts related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage claims.
• Input client information and case details into the firm’s case management system.
• Identify viable claims and escalate qualifying matters to attorneys.
• Coordinate with the Employment team to ensure smooth handoff of potential matters.
• Track follow-up tasks, schedule consultations, and collect supporting documentation.
• Assist with tracking referral sources and evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness.
