Must be licensed in Speech Therapy in the state, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. CPR certification and weekend availability preferred.

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing speech therapy and the plan of care.
• Evaluates patient function and assists in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognition.
• Observes and reports patient progress to the supervising nurse/physician.
• Educates patient, family and caregivers in speech therapy techniques.
