Job summary

Always Compassionate Home Care is hiring a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care to clients in the New York area. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, hygiene, mobility, medication reminders, and basic health monitoring under supervision.

The role emphasizes building trusting relationships with clients and families while maintaining safety, dignity, and independence. Training and certification in line with state requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Must have a Home Health Aide certificate from state-approved training.
• Must have maturity for establishing and maintaining good relationships with client and agency personnel.
• Have a sincere interest in caring for the sick and disabled.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a healthy, safe environment and provide nutritional and environmental support.
• Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, walking and feeding the client.
• Position the client as instructed and assist with certain treatments ordered by physician.
• Remind the client to take medications and assist with bill payments when authorized.
• Run errands with documentation on the Aide Charting Sheet.
• Report changes in client conditions to the agency or nursing supervisor.
