Zusammenfassung

Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide in New York to provide compassionate in-home care. You will assist with personal care, mobility, daily living activities and medication reminders according to the client's care plan.

The role requires a state-certified Home Health Aide and a compassionate attitude toward caring for the elderly and disabled. Training and ongoing education support are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Must have a Home Health Aide training certificate per State requirements.
• Must have maturity for good work relationships with client, family and staff.
• Must have a sincere interest and sympathetic attitude toward caring for the sick and disabled.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a healthy, safe environment and provide nutritional and environmental support.
• Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, walking and feeding the client.
• Position the client when instructed to do so.
• Assist with certain treatments and therapy as ordered by the physician and approved by the nursing supervisor.
• Remind the client to take medications.
• Assist with payment of bills only when authorized and documented.
• Run errands when authorized; document on the Aide Charting Sheet daily.
• Report changes in the client's condition to the agency and/or nursing supervisor.
• Use of medical supplies and equipment when appropriate.
• Provide emotional support and foster a trusting relationship with the client.
• Encourage client independence.
