Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services in Massachusetts seeks an empathetic Clinician to join our Adult Intensive Team within the CBHC program. You will lead therapeutic groups and provide individual sessions for adults, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, strong clinical skills, and collaboration in a community-based setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Independent Clinical Licensure in Massachusetts preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills, crisis intervention, short-term interventions, and engagement strategies.
• Ability to establish rapport with diverse clinical presentations and knowledge of community resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling, optimism, and encouragement.
• Offer therapy in the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences per client needs and clinical direction.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, using a team approach to treatment.
• Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients.
• Ensure active client involvement in treatment planning and preferences.
• Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework.
• Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
