Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services in Massachusetts seeks an empathetic Clinician to deliver evidence-based therapy within our CBHC program. The role focuses on adults, families, and youth, using a client-centered, solution-focused approach in various settings.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, individual therapy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans and ensure client safety and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
  • Independent Clinical Licensure in Massachusetts preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, crisis intervention ability, and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with diverse client presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement.
  • Offer therapy in office, virtually, community settings, or client residences based on needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and team-based treatment planning.
  • Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients.
  • Ensure active client involvement in treatment planning per preferences.
  • Provide individual therapy to clients and families within CBHC framework.
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients and ensure safety and well-being.

Eliot is seeking an empatheticCliniciandedicated to providing quality behavioral health treatment and support in our innovative Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) program. Eliot’s CBHC serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide evidence-based treatment to Adults utilizing sound judgment, excellent clinical skills with the ability to provide effective, solution focused therapy to a diverse client base with a wide array of presenting problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement to clients and families
  • Offer therapy in the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences based on client preferences and needs as well as clinical direction
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, utilizing a team approach to treatment.
  • Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients
  • Ensure active client involvement in the treatment planning process, embracing their preferences
  • Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring client safety and fostering well being.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or other related area.
  • Independent Clinical Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies
  • Must be able to quickly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations. Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Bilingual candidates fluent in a needed language may be eligible for a 6% salary increase.

$65,000 - $70,000 USD
