Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services in Massachusetts seeks an empathetic Clinician to deliver evidence-based behavioral health treatment within our CBHC program, serving youth, families, and adults. The role emphasizes sound judgment, strong clinical skills, and solution-focused therapy across diverse presentations.

The clinician will work in a single-entry CBHC setting, with opportunities for office, virtual, and community-based sessions, and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Independent Clinical Licensure in Massachusetts preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills, crisis intervention ability, and engagement strategies.
• Knowledge of community resources and how to access them.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement to clients and families.
• Offer therapy in the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences based on client needs and clinical direction.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and use a team approach to treatment.
• Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients.
• Ensure active client involvement in treatment planning and respect client preferences.
• Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework.
• Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring safety and well-being.
