Job summary

DEFTEC seeks a Contractor Support to Electromagnetic Operations & Electromagnetic Warfare (EMO/EW) to assist in developing capability products under NATO governance. The role supports program management, liaises with EMO/EW and Joint & Multi-Domain stakeholders from strategic to tactical levels, and helps elicit and trace requirements across the DOTMLPFI framework.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science or related field, or bachelor's with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 years' experience briefing senior leaders in the last 10 years.
  • 5 years of operational EMO/EW knowledge at tactical or joint level in last 12 years, e.g. JICO/NAVWAR/PNT/BSM.
  • Minimum 2 years in program/project management within a complex/multinational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to development of EMO/EW capability products per NATO governance model.
  • Support interaction with EMO/EW and Joint & Multi-Domain stakeholders from strategic to tactical levels.
  • Elicit, capture, analyze and trace operational requirements and interoperability targets.
  • Support development and review of EMO/EW doctrinal corpus (policies, directives, concepts).
  • Coordinate DOTMLPFI development and synchronization; recommend actions to resolve capability issues.
  • Organize and participate in workshops, conferences, and meetings; travel up to 40 days/year.
  • Collaborate with national and international military and civilian organizations, centers of excellence, and academia.
  • Administer program status information in ACT's information-sharing environment; liaise with NATO agencies.
  • Identify lessons and best practices; contribute to learning within the organization.
  • Travel to meetings and conferences up to 40 days per year; perform additional program tasks.
