Job summary

Envirotest, a proud subsidiary of Opus Inspection, seeks a Station Manager to oversee daily emission-station operations, uphold safety, and deliver customer-focused service. The role emphasizes staffing, scheduling, compliance with policies, and efficient inspections to minimize wait times.

You will lead a team, train new staff, manage inventories, and coordinate maintenance while ensuring administrative tasks and safety programs are properly executed at the station.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of emission stations to ensure compliance with Envirotest's policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and assist with the training of new employees, giving continuous coaching, feedback, and support.
• Supervise and assign tasks to employees to ensure the efficiency of the station.
• Create employee schedules to ensure proper staffing for station based on forecasted customer traffic and operational needs.
• Ensure emission inspections are conducted accurately and efficiently to minimize customer wait times.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operation activities.
• Manage inventory of supplies around the station.
• Coordinate facility maintenance, including groundskeeping, snow removal, janitorial upkeep and painting.
• Promote a culture of safety by leading the station's Safety Program to ensure the safety of both employees and customers.
• Complete administrative paperwork related to station's operations and finances
• Conduct emissions tests as needed to maintain compliance with customer wait time expectations.
• Additional duties as assigned by District or Operations Manager.
