Job summary

Qualifications

• Interest in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impacts from energy infrastructure.
• Experience with data/statistical analysis (courses or projects).
• Interest in natural gas systems and related R&D needs.
• Ability to think logically and apply knowledge to new situations.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment/issues in field settings.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe practices and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on testing setup and data collection in lab and field to support energy research.
• Perform engineering/scientific tasks under supervision of project leads.
• Analyze data statistically from testing.
• Contribute to technical reports and white papers communicating findings.
• Travel for customer site visits or field demos/tests.
• Attend safety meetings and apply safety standards.
• Apply standard engineering practices to complex design features.
• Participate in project teams and adhere to scope, deliverables, and budgets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
