Job summary

Opus Inspection, Inc. is seeking a Repair Advisor in Crown Point, Indiana to serve as the program resource for technical and automotive initiatives.

You will provide in-person diagnostic assistance, train technicians, and collaborate with local shops, manufacturers, and stakeholders to keep vehicles in compliance. This role emphasizes customer-focused service, effective communication, and troubleshooting emissions-related issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certifications A6, A8 and L1 highly preferred.
• 5+ years of automotive diagnosis/repair experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person diagnostic assistance for emissions-related issues.
• Train technicians and conduct state certification training for repair staff.
• Engage with local shops, technicians, manufacturers and stakeholders to promote the program.
• Maintain a knowledge base of vehicle issues and testing considerations; monitor trends.
• Assist in determining vehicle eligibility for repair assistance and advocate for solutions.
