Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an Emissions Compliance Specialist to perform emissions testing, data collection, and reporting to support state and federal requirements. The role partners with Field Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to ensure compliant operation of Tallgrass equipment.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Applied Science or engineering-related field.
• Two years direct work experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform emissions testing and monitoring to support engine/turbine testing programs.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain emissions equipment and sampling devices.
• Record and document emissions levels for applicable pollutants; schedule tests to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate test dates with Field Operations and Air Compliance; track testing frequency and runtimes.
• Prepare and distribute emissions monitoring reports to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
• Interpret permit requirements and stay current with NSPS/MACT regulations and EPA methods.
