Job summary

LER TechForce in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Emission Test Support Technician for the 2nd shift to support chassis dyno emissions testing and related activities.

You will set up test vehicles, operate dyno and emission analyzers, perform particulate filter measurements, and assist with scheduling and safety. The role offers full benefits and opportunities to work on industry-leading projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CHASSIS DYNO EMISSIONS testing experience.
• 2+ years experience with emissions testing, including EPA drive cycles and equipment setup.
• Ability to address work with a high-level safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up test vehicles on a chassis dynamometer using standard processes.
• Set up and operate chassis dyno and emission analyzers per work requests.
• Drive test vehicles on chassis dyno per trace or engineering direction.
• Perform particulate filter measurements in a clean environment.
• Support daily test scheduling and maintain test cell organization.
• Participate in safety and quality activities.
• Work in cold and hot test chambers (-35 to 50C).

We are seeking an Emission Test Support Technician - 2nd Shift to support our client Ann Arbor, MI.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Set up test vehicles on a chassis dynamometer using standard processes.
• Set up and operate chassis dyno and emission analyzers based on engineering work requests.
• Drive test vehicles on chassis dyno using prescribed test trace or by engineering direction.
• Particulate filter measurement, including proper handling in a clean environment.
• Support daily test scheduling.
• Daily test cell organization and maintenance.
• Participate in safety and quality activities.
• Must be willing to work in cold and hot test chambers. ( -35 to 50C).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years CHASSIS DYNO EMISSIONS Testing Experience.
• 2 + years experience with emissions testing, including EPA drive cycles (FTP 75, US06, HFET), emission analyzer set up and chassis dynamometer operation.
• Ability to address work with a high-level safety mindset.

Preferred

• High School diploma required. AA or trade school.
• ASE Certifications.
