Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking a Chassis Dynamometer Operator to work onsite in Auburn Hills, MI. You will be involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented testing, and engine calibration on a state-of-the-art chassis dynamometer.

Accepted candidates will have an associates degree or technical training, proficiency with PC-based software, and the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift. The role includes benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Trade School, or Technical School completed.
• PC-based applications knowledge including Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical or electrical experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Benchmarks and testing on chassis dynamometer systems.
• Set up and conduct tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system.
• Perform preventive maintenance of FEV equipment.
• Maintain quality assurance procedures.

• Involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing, and vehicle level engine calibration inside a state-of-the-art 4WD emissions chassis dynamometer.
• Set up and conduct tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance of FEV equipment.
• Maintain quality assurance procedures.

• PC-based applications knowledge including Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical or electrical experience required.
• Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed.
